Q.
How do I decide which type of training best suits my needs?
A. At Adams and Associates,
we believe companies and profits are built through people, and so our
training programmes reflect personal growth and development. A&A
consultants are specialists who focus on assisting the client in determining
the long and short term goals of the company and its people, and in
evaluating and prioritising necessary skills. In this way, training
is identified that is relevant, effective and beneficial to the company
and its people - thereby positively impacting the bottom line.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q.
Are the events listed run as open programmes or are they tailored specifically
to your clients' needs?
A. The events have been
run as open programmes, but more often they are tailored more specifically
to the client's needs.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q.
What is the minimum/maximum number of people that you will accept for
your (MIT) Manager in Transition course?
A. The minimum number of
people that we will accept for the MIT course is 8. We will accept up
to a total of 16 people, at no additional cost.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q.
Do you offer follow up programmes to your MIT course?
A. Yes, we offer follow-up
mentoring or individual coaching for people that have graduated from
the MIT course. This is done only after a careful briefing by the individual's
immediate superior, to ensure that the correct deficiencies / weaknesses
are dealt with and individual strengths are built on.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q.
Someone mentioned to me how impressed he was with your Count to Five
Goal Planning presentation which featured in an MIT course he attended.
Do you offer an individual session on Goal Planning?
A. Yes, this is offered
as an individual goal-planning workshop. Two day retreats can also be
organised for this important subject, when both business and personal
goals are dealt with over a 48 hour total immersion session.

should I do?
Q.
Can I copy the programme on to a floppy to transfer it to another machine.
A. No. Refer to Section 18 of your User
Manual for complete instructions on how to move your Version 7 System
to another machine.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q. How do
I replenish the Survey credits in my System?
A. Call the help-line or E-mail and
order more credits, your new licence code will be E-mailed back to you.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q.
How do I get updates to the System?
A. The latest updates to both the system
executable files (The "Analyst files") and the narrative report
files ("System.dat") are placed on a web site at:
http://an-idea.com/success/index.php
These files are dated so that you can identify if you need to download
them. Once downloaded, simply extract the files to the C:\Survey7 directory
and accept "Yes" to overwrite the existing files. This will
only work when Personality Survey is NOT in use.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q. How do
I get unusual symbols and use foreign words when entering details in
the Analyst and Job Scan opening screens?
A. Fire up the Windows programme "Character
Map", choose the same font as Survey uses, which is Times New Roman
unless you have changed it. Choose the symbol or foreign letter you
need, for instance ê and press "Copy". Now go back to
the survey screen, right click on the box you want to insert the letter
into and choose "Paste". The letter you chose will then appear.
Thus it is possible to insert foreign names such as "de Brêve".
The name will then appear correctly spelled in the report.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q. Can I
use my own word processor to add Analyst's comments to reports?
A. Yes. Write your comments using your
favourite word processor, spell check it and then highlight all the
text and copy it to the clip board.
In the Analyst's Comments screen, press
the space bar and then right click at the cursor. From the drop down
list choose "Paste" and your text will be pasted in exactly
as you typed it in your word processor. Delete the first space you typed
in.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q.
Can I cut and paste text in the main body of the reports?
A. No.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q. Is there
a limit to the number of times I can print each report?
A. No you may print reports as many
times you wish.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q. Can I
add Analyst's Comments to a report after I have already printed it?
A. Yes, you can add comments to or delete
comments from a report and still print the result.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q. I have
lost the Analyst icon from my desk top, what should I do?
A. Right click on the desk top and from
the drop down list press "New" then "Shortcut".
Press "Browse" and then click on the directory "C:\Survey7",
find the file "Analyst7.exe" and double click on it. Now press
"Next", then "Finish". You will find a new icon
on the desk top that you can use to fire up Survey.
